Reviews about Fink's Jewelers

YOU MUST GO TO FINKS!! I cannot say enough great things about Fink's and especially Odessa Fellows, our ring consultant! My engagement ring is absolutely PERFECT and it's all because of Odessa. She went above and beyond to give us my dream ring! Before my fiancé bought me my ring, I would go in and look at rings. Odessa went out of her way to get to know me and my specific ring preferences. I am very picky, but somehow Odessa got my exact vision from the moment I started describing my dream ring. I did a lot of homework on rings and jewelry stores. I thought I had researched everything. Odessa somehow knew me better than I knew myself and kept suggesting great ideas I hadn't even thought of. Odessa is my ring angel, but the rest of the staff at Fink's was great as well. Everyone is always so positive and friendly. The entire staff knows exactly what they are talking about and truly has your best interest at heart. Any jewelry store can make a nice ring. Fink's not only makes stunning rings, but they truly want you to have the jewelry that best suits you. I work in healthcare and they made sure to cater my ring to being functional at work as well. When I had to get my ring resized, one of the staff members drove to the jeweler's house, so I could get my ring back before I went on vacation. Every staff member has the mentality of wanting the customer to be truly happy. My fiancé was just as impressed with Odessa and everyone else at Fink's. My fiancé is an amazing guy but not a ring expert. Odessa and the other staff members took great care of him to make sure he truly understood what he was buying. He cared a lot about the color of the ring, but didn't care as much about some of the other "C"s. Odessa helped him find a diamond that had his ideal characteristics yet saved him money on the things he didn't care about. I had set the bar high on the dream ring I wanted. I had one vision of my dream ring while my fiancé had another. Odessa was somehow able to combine our two visions to make the most perfect ring ever. Also I tend to have champagne taste on a beer budget. Odessa was able to work with my fiancé to get my high quality dream ring for his dream budget. I'm still in shock with how stunning my ring is!! Odessa went above and beyond to get me my dream ring. Everywhere I go I get compliments on it. My ring is so perfectly me! It's been 3 months and I'm still the cheesy girl staring at it every chance I get. I can say without a doubt I don't know where we would be without Odessa and the staff at Finks.

My fiancé designed my ring through Ritani. The ring is absolutely perfect, and Ritani has been amazing! However, Ritani’s distributor in the Raleigh- Durham area is, Fink’s Jeweler. Since the day he picked up my ring, we both have been treated horribly by the staff and the manager. The first time I met the staff at Fink’s was after he proposed and I needed my ring resized. They were extremely short, had a condescending tone and were rude. We asked if they were able to size the ring in house, because being newly engaged I didn't want to be without it for an extended period of time. They insisted that it had to be sent back to Ritani for a myriad of reasons. So, Ritani took care of it. I went back in today because, sadly my ring needs to be resized again (not anyone’s fault except my big knuckles) and I was going to have Fink’s send it to Ritani for me. I went in and tried to start a conversation with the salesman, saying “good morning!” and asking how his day is. He was cold, and couldn’t even exchange pleasantries with me. He just asked “what he could do for me”, mind you, there was one other person in the store, and 3 other sales people. I told him what my problem was and he started telling me that they could do the sizing and sizing beads with their jeweler in town. Confused because of our last encounter, I said “are you sure? The last time I was here the man I spoke to was adamant about having to send it back to Ritani.” He looked at me and said “What do you mean by adamant?” I told him about our last conversation and he went and got the manager (who was the man I spoke to last time). He opened the box my ring was in and said “Oh I remember THIS ring” and then continued to say they could do the sizing and sizing beads in town; and they told me Ritani doesn't do sizing beads. I told them I was okay with doing it in town but I didn't want it to affect my warranty. They told me I could call Ritani and ask them how to handle it. I left and called Ritani. The woman I spoke to was great, informed me that they do indeed do sizing beads and would email me a FedEx label to overnight it to them. After that I went back to Fink’s just to let them know what’s going on. I walked in and the salesman I spoke with before was standing there and I said “I spoke to someone at Ritani, they’re going to resize it and they actually do sizing beads!” He crossed his arms and said “To use your word they use to be insistent about not doing sizing beads.” I couldn't believe a salesman at a high end jeweler spoke to me in a tone and a way that a child speaks to his or her parent! I was blown away! At that point I told him I would be mailing the ring myself and thanked him for his help, even though they didn’t really help me at all. My fiancé and I haven’t complained or wrote a review until now because we thought “hey, maybe they’re having a bad day”! He an I have have both worked in food, sales, etc… so we get it. But it has literally been EVERY time either one of us is in there. I left today feeling bad about myself because they treated me like a lower class human. A long time ago my fiancé asked for my ring size and I went to Kay Jewelers due to convince. I was treated 100x better there than I ever have been at Fink’s. I truly cannot believe how they speak to their customers. I understand that being a Ritani distributer you don't get the sale. But, if you’re nice to the customers, and treat them right, they’re going to come back. Well, we won’t be back, and we won’t ever be recommending them to anyone.
