I asked twice if the phone was in its initial condition all connections all parts (including SIM and photo cards). I returned home to recharge, and transfer data to new phone. I powered up and got the message needs SIM card to connect. He had forgotten/neglected to put SIM and photo memory cards back in place. We will see if he will deliver them to a safe, convenient location near me.
